Euro-pizza

Went skiing with my kids this weekend. For lunch, we went into the lodge and ordered pizza and hot chocolate.

I didn't really pay attention to the pizza I ordered. Which is why I ended up eating a slice of pizza with chunks of potato on it.

Dear Europeans, when will you stop putting weird stuff on your pizzas?

When I was in Spain I ordered cheesecake only to get a layer of cake with some sort of sour, goat cheese on top. Not what I had in mind.

Hey GRC - if you love bad pizza...you've gotta come to Japan, then. They put octopus, squid, mayo, seaweed on some of their pizzas. Yes, it's pretty disgusting.

Oh, Greg. This doesn't sound much like you; are you getting prepped for life in Big D? Potato on pizza isn't weird for Italians. Been eating it for decades. Usually, it's a white pizza (no tomato sauce) made with lots of olive oil, rosemary, garlic. Yum. When you get to Dallas, head to Cavalli's and try their Bianco pizza.
