I just bought a MacBook Pro. There's an Apple Store in Geneva (one of only three in Continental Europe). But I bought my new Mac online and had it shipped to family who will be visiting Geneva in a couple weeks. Why did I buy online?
- 12 months same as cash offer with a Barclaycard only available in the US.
- All the Swiss Macs have European keyboards, which means no "$", the Y and Z keys are switched, and the @ is Ctrl+G.
- Just didn't want to speak French when buying a computer.

I don't blame you. I'd do the same thing. Who wants a keyboard with a bunch of unnecessary umlauts? :)
Plus I bet the prices are better.
